13 metres, four double cabins with private bathrooms, a trampoline up front and a sunbed on the coachroof.
The Lagoon 42 is built in France by Lagoon — the world leader in cruising catamarans. Hulls by VPLP, interior by Nauta Design. It is one of the most common boats in the Mediterranean, loved for its reliability and well-thought-out layout.
On the Lagoon 42 the mast is set further aft and the jib tacks itself — no winching or running around the deck at every tack. So she sails calmly even in a fresh breeze.
The raised helm station sits by the saloon door: the skipper can see both sides of the boat while staying close to the guests in the cockpit.
On the plan the stern is on the left and the bow on the right.
