14.5 metres, four double cabins with private bathrooms, a big flybridge with sunbeds and a forward cockpit. This is our boat for the Amalfi Coast.
The Lagoon 46 is the flagship of the French yard Lagoon’s mid-size sailing catamarans. Hulls by VPLP, exterior by Patrick le Quément, interior by Nauta Design.
Almost 8 metres of beam make her very stable: crossing the Bay of Naples she barely rolls. Big tanks — a thousand litres of fuel and 600 litres of water — let us stay at anchor in the bays for several days without going into a marina.
The helm and all the lines lead to the flybridge: the skipper sails the boat from up top, leaving the cockpit and saloon entirely to the guests.
On the plan the stern is on the left and the bow on the right.

A roomy galley with hob, oven and fridges, a table with a sofa and full-width windows. The door to the aft cockpit opens fully.

Soft sunbeds in front of the coachroof and a trampoline over the water. The sunniest spot on a passage.
Four double cabins with large beds, hull windows and overhead hatches. Next to each one is a private bathroom with a separate shower stall.
